After releasing his newest album, NASIR, Nas is giving fans another reason to revisit the short project. The New York rap legend has partnered with Mass Appeal to drop a short film of the same name.

NASIR- The Film, directed by Rohan Blair-Mangat, is a 15-minute mini movie. The short is reminiscent of visual albums like JAY-Z (4:44) and Beyoncé (Lemonade, Beyoncé). The movie brings all seven Kanye West-produced songs, to life creatively and artfully. The plot tells the story of a Black youth from Queens, raised by his grandmother, who becomes a victim of police brutality. The film tackles the social and societal issues that plague the Black community.
