Harlem Culture Festival Unveils Star-Studded Lineup for Its Debut Event, Hosted By MC Lyte

MC Lyte The much-awaited Harlem Culture Festival has released its official roster of performers. The premier event promises an exciting array of talents from the world of Hip Hop, R&B, and Dancehall genres. The festival, running for three days, will be hosted on Randall’s Island in New York City. Beyond the main island event, attendees can look forward to exclusive concert experiences at The Apollo and multiple engaging activities spread across the Harlem community. Among the performers are native Harlem artists including Cam’ron, Doug E. Fresh, Ma$e, and Teyana Taylor. The event will be graced by Hip Hop veteran MC Lyte, who will be acting as the festival’s host. “I’m thrilled to host the inaugural Harlem Culture Festival as a New Yorker. The festival has planned something truly unique that everyone from the neighborhood, across the country, and around the globe will appreciate,” shares MC Lyte. “Expect nothing less than an unmatched celebration of our rich culture!” The event also boasts a stellar lineup of performers including Adam Blackstone, Bell Biv DeVoe, Coco Jones, Eric Bellinger, Fat Joe, Jozzy, MAJOR., Muni Long, Remy Ma, Ro James, Tink, and Wyclef Jean. Adding a unique touch to the festival, British artist Estelle will host the Dancehall LinkUp, featuring performances by Lumidee, Max Glazer, Mr. Killa, Nadine Sutherland, Nina Sky, Rupee, Serani, and Wayne Wonder. On the advisory board, Wyclef Jean and Doug E. Fresh play significant roles. “Our goal was to construct a board of artists and creative minds to advise us during the festival’s planning, a unique approach in this space,” Wyclef Jean, Co-Chair of the HFC Music Advisory Board, elaborates. “We wanted to leverage the artists’ first-hand festival experiences to make the HFC a truly unique festival experience. We can’t wait to share what we’ve crafted!” The Harlem Culture Festival is slated for July 28-30. Various ticketing options are available including single-day general admission and VIP tickets, weekend packages for GA and VIP, and special discounted tickets for Harlem residents.
