JID’s Tiny Desk Concert Trending On YouTube
JID is currently trending on YouTube after his Tiny Desk Concert raked in over 350,000 views in less than 24 hours. During the NPR Music performance, JID performed his songs Galaxy, Workin Out, Off da Zoinkys, Never, Sistanem, Surround Sound, and Kody Blu 31. The Dreamville artist is fresh off the release of his album The Forever Story which dropped on August 26. The album has features from Kenny Mason, EarthGang, 21 Savage, Baby Tate, Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, Yasiin Bey, Lil Wayne, Johnta Austin, Ravyn Lenae, and Eryn Allen Kane. In addition to JID, NPR Music’s YouTube channel has hosted recent Tiny Desk Concerts with Usher, Denzel Curry, and Monica. Usher’s show, which went viral, received over 10 million views.
