Rick Ross suffered another seizure over the weekend, leading to the cancellation of an Easter Sunday performance in Houston. The following Monday, the he was scheduled to perform in the country of Guyana, which was also cancelled.
Guyanese promoters issued a statement shortly after the aborted concert this week, which confirmed the news.
“The artist has suffered a medical emergency and has been ordered by his doctors not [sic] travel,” said the statement from the promoters Hits and Jams Entertainment. According to AllHipHop, Ross was ordered not to fly by medical staff after suffering the seizure.
It isn’t known which day that Ross suffered the seizure episode but his reps say there will be a concert in Guyana at a later time. Houston fans anticipating seeing Ross in performance will not have the same privilege of a rescheduling, according to the report.
Rick Ross suffered back-to-back seizures last October while boarding flights to make concert dates in Memphis and Alabama. After a brief hiatus, Rozay went back to his heavy tour grind and recording shortly after. Ross has yet to come forward about his health concerns.
