Q-Tip & 2 Chainz Sign With G.O.O.D Music?

It has been confirmed that Q-Tip is the newest addition to the G.O.O.D. Music family, however 2 Chainz ignited rumors that he was also signing to Kanye West’s label aswell.
The former Tribe Called Quest member has inked a deal with Kanye West’s label in conjunction with Def Jam, and will release a new album next year.
The 42-year-old rapper joins Big Sean, Pusha T, John Legend, and Kid Cudi on the famed label. He was previously signed to Universal Motown, where he released his 2008 album The Renaissance. He is currently recording his G.O.O.D. Music debut The Last Zulu, due in 2013.
Q-Tip added, “I’m excited to be a part of the great iconic Def Jam label. I’m humbled to be a part of such a storied history. To reconnect with Barry Weiss is a great thing. As far as G.O.O.D. Music, I’m excited to solidify my working relationship with Kanye, and I look forward to all the opportunities that lie ahead in our partnership. I will do my best to present the most cutting edge music I can.”
During an interview with Angie Martinez on Wednesday, 2 Chainz remained coy about his affiliation with the famed hip-hop label.
On his relationship with Kanye: “I’ve been communicating with ‘Ye for a little over a year now. ‘Ye, he came to BET, and by him being in the back while I was getting dressed and getting ready, the guys from BET started coming back there. It soon became all about him. Everything they wanted me to do, they started asking him and his whole goal was to come up and [support].”
On whether he’s signing to G.O.O.D. Music: “It’s some things we’re working out, basically. It’s pretty cool.”
