Some veterans and newcomers are descending upon Tennessee for the 2013 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. Kendrick Lamar, the Lumineers, Nas, A$AP Rocky, Bjork, Paul McCartney, Macklemore and the Wu-Tang Clan are among the acts who will take the stage at the annual music extravaganza.
Mumford & Sons, Tom Petty, Wilco, Pretty Lights, R. Kelly, the National, and Grizzly Bear will also be performing at the annual festival. Other names confirmed to appear at the fest include David Byrne and St. Vincent, Passion Pit, the xx, Animal Collective, Portugal. The Man, Animal Collective and Cat Power. Comedian Daniel Tosh also earned top billing, perhaps hinting at an increased focus on stand-up this year. All in all, more than 100 acts were announced by Bonnaroo organizers on Tuesday (February 19) in an hour-long livestream hosted by none other than “Weird Al” Yankovic (who, it should be noted, is also performing).
