DaBaby Jonathan “DaBaby” Kirk unveiled his latest creative endeavor this week – a music video for the track “Sellin Crack,” featuring Offset, released on May 23. The music video has quickly gained traction, ranking at No. 10 in YouTube’s music section. Directed by DaBaby and Reel Goats, the visual representation of “Sellin Crack” has already amassed over 900,000 views since its debut. The music video draws inspiration from the iconic 1991 crime drama, New Jack City. DaBaby and Offset pay homage to Wesley Snipes’s infamous character, drug lord Nino Brown. The video also includes guest appearances by D’Aydrian Harding, Kane Kongg, and Samaria Stewart. The Charlie Heat-produced track is part of the three-song collection, Call Da Fireman, released on May 5. Other songs included in Call Da Fireman are “Ghetto Girls>>>>” and “Shake Sumn.” “Shake Sumn” has achieved notable success, peaking at No. 74 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 14 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart. DaBaby has a history of Billboard chart successes. He reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2020 with “Rockstar,” featuring Roddy Ricch. He also landed a solo Top 10 hit with “Suge” in 2019. In addition, DaBaby has topped the Billboard 200 chart twice. His 2019 album, Kirk, and 2020’s Blame It on Baby both enjoyed a week at the top of the album rankings. Both albums, Kirk and Blame It on Baby, have earned Platinum certification from the RIAA.
