Jay-Z’s Made In America Festival Set to Return to Philadelphia this Labor Day Weekend

Jay-Z The highly anticipated Made In America festival, curated by Roc Nation founder Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, is scheduled to make its return to Philadelphia on Saturday, September 2, and Sunday, September 3. Early bird tickets and VIP packages for the annual two-day event are now available for purchase on the Miafest website. Taking place during Labor Day Weekend, the festival has reportedly generated over $180 million in economic impact for the city of Philadelphia. The 2022 Made In America Festival saw Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny and California rapper Tyler, The Creator as headliners, alongside performances by Lil Uzi Vert, Jazmine Sullivan, Burna Boy, and others. Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez lauded the success of the 2022 festival, stating, “The Made In America festival has become synonymous with Labor Day Weekend. 2022 was an overwhelming success with our headliners, Bad Bunny and Tyler, the Creator, all the amazing talent on the line-up, and the positive energy from all our attendees.” She added that the organizers look forward to another record-breaking year in the City of Brotherly Love, taking place on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Additional information and the talent line-up for the 2023 Made In America Festival will be announced in the coming weeks. The inaugural festival took place in September 2012, featuring Jay-Z and legendary rock band Pearl Jam as headliners. The two acts joined forces to perform a live rendition of “99 Problems” during the event.
