Renowned rapper hailing from Chicago, Lil Durk, is set to release his new album, “Almost Healed,” comprising 21 tracks on May 26. The 30-year-old leader of “Only the Family” has unveiled the song list for the upcoming project. “Almost Healed” follows in the footsteps of Durk’s previous successful albums, including the Billboard 200 chart topper “7220”. His collaborative work “The Voice of the Heroes” with fellow rapper Lil Baby also achieved a number one ranking. Earlier, Lil Durk introduced the title track “Almost Healed” featuring J. Cole. Other artists like Future, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Morgan Wallen, and the late Juice WRLD will also be lending their talents to the album. In 2021, Durk collaborated with country music sensation Morgan Wallen on “Broadway Girls”. This partnership was formed despite a controversy involving Wallen where he was caught on tape using a racial slur. In Wallen’s defense, Durk stated, “He’s not a racist; he’s my friend. We had a serious conversation about his public controversy. Our conversation remained private, and I can vouch for him – he’s a good person.” Durk’s single “All My Life” with J. Cole debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, right behind Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night”. The single, produced by Dr. Luke, accumulated 30.9 million streams within its debut week. “All My Life” also secured top spots on both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and the Hot Rap Songs chart. This success marks Durk’s third career number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs rankings and his second on the Hot Rap Songs chart.
