Rapper Mac Miller sadly passed away on September 7th, due to a suspected drug overdose. Now that coroners have completed the toxicology report, they have announced the official cause of death. According to reports from TMZ, the L.A. County Coroner’s Office discovered a lethal mixture of fentanyl and cocaine in his system at the time of his death.

Mac’s assistant found him unresponsive in his on his bed in a “praying position” and she described him as already being “blue” during the 911 call. He had a 1/4-inch abrasion on the bridge of his nose, and reportedly there was blood coming out of one nostril.

Investigators also found an empty alcohol bottle on Miller’s nightstand, and a bottle of prescription pills in the bathroom. They also uncovered a rolled up $20 bill with white residue on it from Mac’s pocket.  While the amount of cocaine and Fentanyl would not have been lethal on their own, they became a deadly combination, once alcohol was introduced into the mix.
