It’s no secret that Drake has been consistently breaking records and topping the chart since the release of his latest album Scorpion. This week he celebrated yet another accolade, this time for his hit single “In My Feelings” being boosted to number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song recieved a colossal boost of energy after popular social media star/comedian Shiggy, shot a video of himself dancing to “In My Feelings” and started a #DoTheShiggy dance challenge. The dance caught on like wildfire, and everyone from preschoolers to world famous celebrities have been doing the dance. With people like James Harden, Russel Wilson, Ciara, Angela Simmons, G-Herbo, and even Will Smith doing the challenge, the song quickly shot up to number 1. It has been reported that Drake showed his gratitude to Shiggy in the form of a check for $250,000 (according to HipHopOverload.com).
